Berryessa Peak Trail Maintenance

This event is tentative and may be cancelled if Tuleyome is unable to secure funds.

Berryessa Peak Trail, one of the signature trails in Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument, requires some attention after last year’s fire. Tuleyome is hosting a work day – with a possible overnight – to help maintain the trail. Work will consist mostly of tread work and fixing small landslides as well as brushing/clearing downed branches and trees as needed. This is a difficult trail and only those that are physically fit should register.

Tuleyome Board member, Andrew Fulks, will be leading the work day and is willing to make this an overnight work day to increase the amount of work accomplished. Participants are responsible for their own food, water, and camping equipment. Tuleyome will provide the necessary tools. Long sleeves, pants, and sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended. Please see the COVID-19 guidelines below to ensure everyone’s safety. This event may be canceled due to health and safety guidelines.
