A great hike in Lake County! The Redbud Trail leads hikers from CA-20 to a fabulous view of Cache Creek before heading to Baton Flat and CAche Creek. If the water level allows for a safe crossing, we will cross the creek to continue on a less popular portion of the trail.

Participants should bring snacks, lunch, and water. Hiking boots or sturdy, close-toed shoes are required. 

Length: 6 miles (round trip)

Difficulty: Moderate

HOW TO GET THERE

The Frog Pond Trailhead is located on CA-20, just west of the bridge over the North Fork of Cache Creek.
