Valley Vista Regional Park Workday
Nov 1, 2025
8:30 AM

We are continuing our partnership with Yolo County to build and maintain the trails at Valley Vista Regional Park. The trails in this park are beloved by Capay Valley residents and are a great gateway to Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument. The trails cross steep slopes and provide hikers with dramatic views of Capay Valley to the south (where the name comes from) as well as the Cache Creek Canyon to the north.

As part of our partnership with Yolo County, we will be providing needed maintenance to the trail system and other minor maintenance. Work will be done with hand tools (MacLeods, hoes, loppers, etc) and will be led and directed by Tuleyome staff. Tools will be provided - volunteers should bring snacks, water, and lunch and work gloves if they have them. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are required, long pants and long sleeves are recommended.

Whether you are a first time trail worker or a seasoned vet, we would love to have you join the crew! Please contact Nate (nlillge@tuleyome.org) if you have questions.

This is a free event, however a $10 donation to help Tuleyome cover our costs is apprecieated. You can make a donation to our general fund here.
