Tuleyome's 5th annual Spring Thing event, co-hosted with the City of Woodland, is coming up on Saturday March 21st! Join us from 10am - 4pm at Woodland Regional Park Preserve for a fun-filled day of nature activities for kids and adults! Be sure to register here to let us know you're coming and then sign in at the Welcome Table to be entered into our raffle for a bottle of wine and a gift card to a local restaurant.
This year we have activities planned all day, including some old favorites and some new additions. For the kiddos, we'll have a performance of Superbird by Nature's Theater, story times from Woodland Public Library, a craft table, fort building, a scavenger hunt, and face painting. For all ages, we'll have nature walks with different themes (birds, general nature, wetlands, and mindfulness), live music, a campfire with s'mores, and interactive displays from over a dozen great partner organizations. We'll also have food available from Hefty Gyros from 11am - 3pm. A full schedule of all of the activities will be posted here the week of the event.
The Spring Thing is a great opportunity to learn more about Tuleyome's fantastic programs, connect with our board and staff, and support the work we do by making a donation, buying a book, or by bidding in our silent auction. This year's silent auction is our best yet, featuring amazing artwork by local artists, a signed Domantis Sabonic jersey, tickets to Gilroy Gardens and the Crocker Art Museum, and tickets to events including Athletics Baseball, Sacramento Republic Soccer, and performances at the Mondavi Center and the Woodland Opera House. And that's not all - stop by the silent auction tables from 10am - 3pm to see everything we have to offer and make a generous bid!
