Mendocino National Forest - Bloody Rock Trail Maintenance
Apr 10, 2026

Tuleyome co-founder and Advisory Council member, Bob Schneider, is leading a trail maintenance trip to Bloody Rock Trail in the Mendocino National Forest. To allow crews adequate time on the trail, this is a multi-day trip. The crew will camp at the USFS Oak Flat Campground at Lake Pillsbury. Volunteers can join for the whole weekend or whenever they can make it.

This moderate 2.4-mile trail takes users to the banks of the Eel River on the northern side of the Snow Mountain Wilderness. Crews will clear the trail by brushing and removing downed trees.

Registrants will receive more information - including meeting times and locations - closer to the event date. Questions? Contact Nate Lillge at nlillge@tuleyome.org.
