Please join us on Zoom at 7pm on June 25th, 2026 for a Nature and You lecture from Madeline Drake, Deputy Secretary for Biodiversity and Habitat at the California Natural Resources Agency. Madeline will discuss California’s 30x30 initiative, which seeks to conserve 30% of the state’s lands and coastal waters by 2030. She will highlight progress that has been made towards the goal, next steps, and challenges facing conservation efforts under the program.
