Congratulations to the Newest Certified California Naturalists!

This spring, 26 participants completed the Certified California Naturalist course with Tuleyome. These naturalists are ready to share their knowledge and understanding of the geology, hydrology, flora and fauna of the Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument region.
The Certified California Naturalist course is presented by Tuleyome in partnership with University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources. The UC California Naturalist Program introduces Californians to the wonders of our unique ecology and engages the public in study and stewardship of California’s natural communities.
Tuleyome annually hosts a multi-week course every winter with classes held on consecutive Fridays and three field trips on Saturdays. In addition to our multi-week course, we continued our partnership with Wilbur Hot Springs Resort and offered a one-week, intensive course. The goal of both courses is to introduce participants to the many wonders of Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument and encouraging participants to share their knowledge with others and continue their own learning and exploration of this remarkable area.
Tuleyome will offer the Certified California Naturalist course next winter - dates will be announced at a later date. Questions about the course should be directed to Nate Lillge at nlillge@tuleyome.org.
