Korematsu 6th graders bird watching.
On November 7th, Tuleyome hosted a class of 6th graders from Korematsu Elementary School at Woodland Regional Park Preserve (WRPP). The students started their day with a tour of the Yolo County Landfill and then came to WRPP, the site of the City of Woodland Landfill until the 1970s, to explore the adaptations trail and learn about how the site has been restored. Highlights of the trip included bird watching with binoculars and playing the Outcompeted game. You can view the full album here.
